Sundance Farm Student Show

Held annually since 1985, this show is just for the clients.  While the regular classes are offered such as showmanship, equitation, pleasure and jumping, the most popular classes are the "Switch Classes" where riders draw from a hat the horse they are to ride amongst the other competitor's horses.  This class is offered in both Equitation and Pleasure and is a real treat to watch.

  The Line-up

The scavenger hunt is the class that causes the most excitement, as riders on teams are given 30 minutes to roam the 60 acres to find assigned items such as oak leaves, moss, purple berries, foxtails and more.  Parents and spectators position themselves in the alfalfa fields to watch the mad search.

Advanced riders compete on the Cross Country Course with various surprise fences that have been created throughout the regular course.  This, too, is a popular spectator event.

This show has become a great way for everyone to unwind after a full competitive summer in companionship and fun in a family atmosphere.
